Fae Features

Le petit fée chien (aka; fae) is not an open breed to create. Imports may only be created by Licensed Dealers, and pups may only be bred by Licensed Breeders.
Unauthorized Fae must be culled, rendering these unusable!

<sub>A few things I've been meaning to mention about the Fae breed. Just scribbles, but most of it is here. I haven't gone into the Dew patterns, but I'll get there.



Red amber. It's genetically brown, but it appears as crimson, scarlet, and peach/pink-like when diluted. It can get pretty dark, so dilute dogs may have a very dark tint, while their undiluted brothers would appear pretty much black. It'll vary by dog.

Red amber and the "third eye" pattern are bloodline rarities. I don't know how many there will be, but they won't be popping out of nowhere. The third eye is dominant, meaning that if a white-marked dog doesn't show it, it's not there. Imports with this feature may pass it onto their offspring 50% or 100% of the time. Only a genetically solid coat will hide the pattern (always in the bloodline). Red amber is genetically brown, so blue, being the most dominant color, hides it. Always in the bloodline. Imports without it will never make them.

Fae have doggy white patterns, not horse patterns, not splash.

They may also occationally have dorsal white (not silvering dew, but actual white spotting. Like these two cockers. The peculiarity of these is that they're not in the usual color-starts-at-the-spine pattern, but you notice that their legs are colored while their spines are not. Since they're longhair, that side spotting may start higher up than it looks, but still. Uncolored spine/colored legs. That's what I mean.</sub>
